A June 2011 hike found a spot in the Maine woods to attempt a build of an entirely Off Grid Self Energy Home that generates all of its energy on its own, by natural processes, without connecting to power or water grid.

Last post was April 2014 and then eventually the site was lost, buried under numerous routine but unmonitored Wordpress upgrades, until May 2023, the latest upgrade revived it. Other priorities preclude further blogging on topic until further notice
